Our History
What once began with the “Neururer Guesthouse” and was shaped over many years by generations and the passage of time is now a popular vacation hotspot in the No. 1 ski dimension, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.
May we introduce the ALFA Hotel in Serfaus, then & now, where tradition meets modernity:
The first guests were welcomed as early as 1958 in Pfunds at what was then the “Neururer Guesthouse”.
The 13 guest rooms shared a hallway shower, though the rooms already featured running hot and cold water.
In 1968, the “Pension Alpenblick” opened in Pfunds directly on the Reschenbundesstraße with 16 rooms. All rooms were already equipped with a shower & WC.
In 1979, the “Alt-Serfaus” restaurant opened with attached apartments.
This was later followed by the Holzschupfn Après-Ski Bar.
2010 marked the start of planning for the “ALFA” project, before the renovation officially began in April 2012. The transformation was completed within 8 months.
Only through the involvement of local companies and consistent construction management could the project be completed on schedule by mid-December without delays.
Passionate Hosts
For three generations, we have been passionate hosts.
As early as the 1950s, my grandparents built a bed and breakfast in nearby
Pfunds.
After my father acquired an old farm in Serfaus in 1979, our passion for tourism continued to evolve.
Hospitality was taught to us from childhood
— it is in our blood, so to speak. And we look forward to proving it to you time and again!
We believe that enjoying oneself is an art,
as is feeling at home while on vacation.
We want to share this art with all our guests.
